Leadership & Partnership
Establish innovative collaborations around shared visions, goals and impact.
University of Global Health Equity, Kigali, Rwanda | Working in partnership with the directors of leading centers and institutes at the university, I collaborated to translate their visions into robust accessible narratives to inspire program growth and engage funding partners. I developed interview processes, bringing in voices of funders, faculty, students, partners, government and civil society, resulting in nuanced perspectives on program growth for this remarkable institution.
Board and Leadership Support and Strategy | I have partnered with numerous leaders, leadership teams and non-profit boards to develop clear planning tools, strategies, and communications toward shared vision and success. I have also supported understanding financial activities and formats and how they tie to mission and program. Recent partners include: Vital CxNs, National Sea Change Coalition, and COPE.
Institute for Healthcare Improvement | As Senior Director heading Rise to Health, the National Initiative for Health Equity, I successfully engaged leading partners from multiple sectors in an expansive $15M initiative with the vision of a transformed health care ecosystem where all people, particularly historically marginalized people, have the power, conditions, and resources to achieve optimal health.
Harvard's Global Task Force on Cancer Care and Control | In partnership with Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Partners In Health, Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, and global leaders in cancer care, I supported highly innovative approaches to expanding cancer care where it's least accessible. I served as a media and communication strategist in collaboration with Partners In Health and the Clinton Global Initiative, planning our rollout of the Lancet release, Expansion of cancer care and control in low and middle income countries: a call to action.
Harvard AIDS Prevention Research Project | I worked with UNAIDS and the World Bank on behalf of Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health to plan and implement a powerful convening of visionaries from across the globe, amplifying best practice behavioral approaches to AIDS prevention.
Steppingstone Foundation | I collaborated to create a national strategy to provide academic opportunity and school placement for underserved urban students, establishing the National Partnership for Educational Access's charter, advisory board, mission, multi-year budget, and launch plan. I developed the Executive Director role and recruited the founding ED.
