Communications, Grant Development, and Reporting Case Studies

Rx Foundation | Developed robust panel emerging best practices in funder grantees trust relations. Moderated national conversation with significant reach in both the foundation and non-profit communities. 
Collaborate with grantees as a collaborating coach to support narrative and program development. 


Groundwater Institute | Researched, wrote and recorded in-depth scripts on the groundwater analysis of health inequity and exemplars of improvement. These videos have been integrated in system-wide leadership training at leading health care delivery clients nationally.   


National Sea Change Coalition | Supported rollout of National Roadmap for Opioid Settlement Funds, including working with collaborating organizations to develop roadmap content, media advisory, and media roundtable event to guide equitable allocation of $50B opioid settlement funds.  


EqualHealth | Developed highly successful grant strategy for EqualHealth's Social Medicine Consortium, Campaign Against Racism, and Women's Leadership Roundtable, expanding donor base and visibility while dramatically increasing access to these essential programs. Successful in receiving grants from Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Open Societies Foundation, Schooner Foundation, and Physicians Foundation. Executed vibrant annual galas and Equity Hero Awards Program.   


BWH Division of Global Health Equity and Partners In Health | Led donor strategy, stewardship and communication, under the leadership of Dr. Paul Farmer in the BWH Division of Global Health Equity. Worked closely with our major donors – foundations and individuals—to develop meaningful metrics to most effectively support their interests in our global equity work. Traveled with donors to share the power of our global programming and wrote rich narratives to convey our stories.  
Developed robust tool kit to make best-practice content in care delivery and finance accessible to broad global audiences. Mentor-Enhanced Supervision for Health Care Quality Improvement and Costing Toolkit for District Health Systems, were launched for end users across PIH's 10 country sites and elevated at global grantee convening for Doris Duke Charitable Foundation. 


Seed Global Health | As founding Chief Administrative Officer, I co-developed a launch strategy for major corporate foundation donors, co-crafted narrative, met with foundation leaders, and established a base for growth from day one. Seed Global Health is an exceptional non-profit dedicated to building capacity of healthcare providers in sub-Saharan Africa.  


Healthcare Without Walls | Collaborating with founder and CEO, I created a highly effective standardized grant system that supported efficiency and success in submission and reporting processes. I helped craft concepts and language that expanded programming from shelter-based health care to targeted initiatives for unhoused and unstably housed elderly women, pregnant women, and new mothers, dramatically improving lives.
